I am currently working with a number of primary schools in the North Leeds area, who are looking to appoint additional teaching assistants once schools re-open to support children in the return to school. 

As children will have been out of school for such a long time now and with very little face to face teaching taking place this year, pupils will be faced with a number of challenges when they return to school both emotionally and educationally.

 Working as a teaching assistant you will be required to support childrens transition back into the classroom by having a calm and reassuring manner, liaising with parents and carers about pupils behaviours and emotions and by being encouraging and pro-active with all children.  

At a primary age, children can have a range of undiagnosed needs and abilities including Autism, ADHD, Dyslexia, Dyspraxia, Speech Language and Communication Needs, Social Emotio...
